Well it’s about damn time we had another giveaway around here! So I’m starting off the new year with a giveaway from RubyClover aka …ME!! I’ve been decoupaging alot lately and making loads of cute little wood earrings. These particular ones are sort of bohemian, sort of rockabilly and totally hot 🙂 They’re painted red and the front is adorned with a vintage flower image and some glittah! The back has an exerpt from Delta of Venus, an erotic book by author Anais Nin. This pair isn’t too naughty at all, however some of my other ones are quite explicit…so if you’re browsing my shop, make sure you read the backs first before purchasing a pair for Grandma! Although she’d probably say it was the best gift she’s gotten in years 😉

i am going to tell a wee tale of ruby and i one night on a hot day in chicago…..after a long night of drinking we went to one of a our favorite places to grab a bit to eat(a subway sub with extra, extra mayo) and went back to her apartment where she was living with her dad. we were eating our sandwiches on her bed when all of a sudden ruby rolled off her bed and landed on her expensive camera(so we thought). when she got up after a moment of silence, we realized it was a pop can that was completely crushed(r.i.p. pepsi can)!

I always like to tell the story of when I saw my beautiful blonde niece who went from an Angelica looking “Sandra Dee” to looking something like “Edward Scissor Hands”.
Well lets just say it was a shock and a jaw dropping moment!! And it will forever be embedded in my mind! What a vision!…lol….and for those who don’t know who Sandra Dee and Edward Scissor Hands are,…. just google their image!!
